Why is it green:
Algae is like lots of tiny little plants growing in the water. Algae will grow unless you use chemicals to stop this from happening. Sometimes phosphates in the water are high, these phosphates are food for algae, so it will grow faster.
To get rid of the green:
Remove as much as you can physically. Kill the rest with chemicals. Remove the dead algae from the pool. Test and balance the pool for swimming
