A Shock + Dose Pill is a fast dissolving measured dose of 20gms to be dropped into a spa after completion of bathing. It’s a strong dose designed to kill bacteria and to oxidise the contaminants left behind after bathing, leaving no residue.
It can be used as your normal chlorine source, or as a shock dose treatment.

Each pill is exactly 20 grams, you need one pill per 1000L of spa water. This usually means 1 for small spas and 2 for big spas (more for swim spas)
Instructions for use:
Use 1 pill per 1000 litres. After using the spa, drop the required number of Spa Shock + Dose Pills into the filter intake while the spa pump is running at high speed.Leave the Spa running for a minimum of 30 minutes, preferably with the lid open.. Variances may occur as a result of bather load, environmental conditions and maintenance. Can be used in Spas with Ozone or UV treatment. Can be used with Waters Choice Pure Enzymes. Ideal as an oxidiser for use with Clarity Bromine Tablets. Check regularly with Spa test strip to maintain chlorine levels at 3-5ppm.
Handling Advice
