Multi Tablets are perfect for keeping your chlorine levels in the OK range and do most of the work by themselves.
However you should shock dose occasionally if the weather is really hot or you have a lot of people swimming.
Use unstabilised chlorine for shock dose either in liquid or granular form. You will also likely require pH Increase to adjust your pool pH level occasionally.
